Chiropractic Scribe/Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chiropractic Scribe/Assistant to support our chiropractic team in delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong medical documentation skills, a solid understanding of anatomy and physiology, and experience working within medical office environments. This role involves transcribing doctor-patient interactions, managing electronic health records, and assisting with administrative tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations. The Chiropractic Scribe/Assistant will play a vital role in maintaining accurate medical records while providing excellent support to clinicians and patients alike.

Duties

  • Transcribe doctor-patient consultations accurately and efficiently into electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring all details are correctly documented.
  • Assist chiropractors with preparing patient charts, updating medical records, and managing documentation workflows.
  • Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems to input, retrieve, and organize patient information securely and confidentially.
  • Support the clinical team by managing appointment scheduling, patient check-in procedures, and follow-up communications.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to facilitate precise documentation and understanding of treatment plans.
  • Provide general administrative assistance within the clinic, including data entry, file management, and correspondence handling.

Experience

  • Prior experience working in a medical office environment or healthcare setting is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in transcription, especially within a clinical context involving medical terminology and documentation standards.
  • Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems is essential for effective record management.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology enhances accuracy in documentation and communication.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
