Chiropractor

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

1. Provide patient-centered care using chiropractic methods in order to locate, analyze and correct vertebral and non-vertebral subluxations.

2. Assess the integrity and functioning of the neuromusculoskeletal system and other systems relevant to care using chiropractic evaluation techniques.

3. Assess health challenges by reviewing patients' histories, carrying out additional consultations, observing and examining patients and interpreting x-rays.

4. Manage referrals for any additional tests to be undertaken outside of the practice.

5. Consult with appropriate health practitioners when necessary and maintain a comanagement plan where appropriate.

6. Maintain accurate case histories of patients.

7. Advise patients about recommended care plans. Communicate effectively with patients and/or parents and carers of patients, respecting privacy, dignity and confidentiality.

8. Counsel patients about optimal nutrition, exercise, equipment/devices, sleeping habits, stress management, and other matters that would promote a wellness lifestyle.

9. Be proactive in developing your patient base, including planning and undertaking marketing events.

10. Lead wellness orientation workshops, as prepared by yourself and the principle chiropractor, to existing, new and prospective patients.

11. Be proactive with personal continuing education (CE) and attend training or conferences beneficial to the OrthoRehab team.

12. Keep up to date with research and developments in the profession.

14. Maintain familiarity with the Chiropractic role.

15. Adhere to our practice policies and procedures to carry out all chiropractic and administrative tasks.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Required)
• Chiropractic License (Preferred)
