Duties

• Provide attentive care to children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Implement age-appropriate activities that support childhood development, including play-based learning, educational exercises, and social interactions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom or daycare environment that encourages exploration and creativity
• Monitor children’s behavior and use positive behavior management techniques to promote good conduct and emotional regulation
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate daily updates on children’s progress, needs, and any concerns
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and outdoor play to ensure comfort and routine consistency
• Follow all safety protocols including first aid procedures and emergency response plans to ensure a secure environment for all children

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, or babysitting/nannying roles
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
• Certification or training in first aid and CPR is highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging activities that foster learning and social skills among young children
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, team members, and caregivers
