Chocolate Concierge - Part Time

Markham & Fitz is looking for passionate, people-loving, and chocolate-loving folks who can excel in customer service, drink making, and retail sales. Must be able to thrive in high pressure scenarios.

Job duties include bartending, barista service, dessert prep and service in a cafe-style setting. A Chocolate Concierge guides guests through a variety of chocolate offerings, both drink, dessert, and chocolate bars.

Preparing beverages and desserts are required along with leading guests through the in-depth chocolate experience we offer.

Bartending experience preferred.

Training will be provided in Food Safety, Bartending & Bean to Bar Chocolate Making.

Part time positions available approximately 18-25 hours needed.

WEEKEND AVAILABILITY REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Welcome & serve customers.
• Make beverages according to recipes & quality standards.
• Actively Sell & Upsell products.
• Communicate product information and company story to customers.
• Sanitize surfaces, ensure safety and cleanliness of the space.
• Required to wear a mask and follow cleanliness guidelines.
• Stock and maintain inventory in store.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a barista or bartender.
• High integrity with a great attendance record.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
