Choir Teacher- Central Middle School

Teach and direct vocal music students in grades 6-8, individually or in groups, teaching beginning, intermediate, and advanced technique classes, small ensembles, and choral ensembles, at the Foreign Language Academy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Music or Music Education from four-year college or university. (Major instrument must be voice, with the ability to accompany on piano.)
• Hold or be eligible for Missouri State Certification in Vocal Music ( K-12)
Strong background as a choral director
