Christian Middle School Science & Math Teacher

Overview

Community Christian School (CCS), a Christ-centered, mid-sized school dedicated to academic excellence and spiritual growth, is seeking a passionate and qualified Middle School Science & Math Teacher for the 2025–2026 school year.

Position Overview:

This full-time role will teach:

  • 7th Grade Physical Science
  • 8th Grade Earth & Space Science
  • 7th Grade Math

The ideal candidate will bring a love for hands-on, inquiry-based science instruction and a desire to inspire curiosity and wonder in young learners, all while pointing them toward God as the Creator.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field (required)
  • Teaching certification and/or experience preferred
  • Passion for Christian education and mentoring students
  • Ability to teach from a biblical worldview and foster classroom engagement

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and will be responsible for educating students in various subjects, with a focus on Geometry and other key areas. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to utilize learning technology to enhance the educational experience.

Duties

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Educate students in Geometry and other subjects, ensuring comprehension through innovative teaching methods.
  • Assess student performance through standardized testing and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Maintain an organized classroom environment conducive to learning, including managing classroom behavior effectively.
  • Collaborate with education administration to align teaching strategies with school goals and policies.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns that may arise.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on educational best practices and learning technology.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with students in an educational setting, demonstrating effective teaching strategies.
  • Strong understanding of Geometry concepts and ability to convey them clearly to students.
  • Familiarity with education administration processes, including curriculum development and assessment methods.
  • Experience with standardized testing procedures and the ability to analyze results for student improvement.
  • Excellent proofreading skills for preparing instructional materials and assessments.
  • Background in scientific research is a plus, enhancing the ability to incorporate real-world applications into lessons.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, essential for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in utilizing learning technology tools to enhance instructional delivery.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,636.00 - $44,000.00 per year
