Job Summary
Chrysler Certified Level 2,3 and 4.also known as a Mopar-certified service technician, is an auto mechanic who specializes in the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM vehicle lines. They are experts in the inner workings of these vehicles and undergo extensive training to become proficient.
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more.
- Conduct thorough diagnostic procedures using advanced diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Test-drive vehicles to ensure proper functionality and identify any additional issues.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed of additional services needed and provide time estimates for extra repairs.
- Perform complex repairs involving electrical and mechanical systems.
- Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technicians.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
- Accurately document all repairs and maintenance performed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
- A-level qualifications, including advanced diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair.
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with advanced diagnostic tools.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and team members.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Basic computer proficiency and the ability to use dealership software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to pursue continuing education to stay current with industry advancements.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram (CDJR) vehicles.
- Master Technician Certification (preferred).
- Familiarity with hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
- Knowledge of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) standards and procedures.

Pay: $40.00 - $85.00 per hour
