Community United Methodist Church is looking for a Treasurer to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budget.
Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Publish financial statements on time
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Reinforce financial data confidentially
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
- Prepare yearly budgets and year end reports
- Requirements
- Work experience as a Treasurer/Accountant
- Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
- Experience as a book keeper
- Experience with general ledger functions
- The Shelby computer program is used by Community United Methodist Church
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20,000.00 per year
