KEY RESPONSABILITIES
1. Club Operations & Management
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them promptly into the POS system.
- Serve drinks, cocktails, wine, spirits, coffee, and menu items efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the menu, drink offerings, and lounge specials.
- Understand the atmosphere and etiquette of a cigar lounge, ensuring guests feel comfortable and well cared for.
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and respond quickly to requests.
- Clear and reset tables promptly while maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Process guest payments accurately and handle cash or card transactions responsibly.
- Collaborate with bartenders, kitchen staff, hosts, and management to ensure smooth service flow.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining and lounge areas, including table settings and service stations.
- Follow all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
- Uphold the lounge’s image by maintaining a polished appearance and professional demeanor at all times.
2. Guest Experience & Member Relations
- Foster an exclusive, welcoming, and sophisticated environment for members and guests.
- Develop personalized guest experiences, ensuring premium service and hospitality.
- Manage membership programs, ensuring retention, growth, and engagement.
- Handle customer concerns professionally to maintain the Club’s elite reputation.
3. Sales, Events & Marketing
- Work with the Entre Humos team to create and execute events, tastings, and exclusive member experiences.
- Develop promotions and loyalty programs to drive revenue and repeat business.
- Collaborate with local businesses, hotels, and yacht owners for strategic partnerships.
- Utilize digital marketing, social media, and VIP outreach to increase club visibility and member engagement.
4. Staff Leadership & Training
- Hire, train, and manage a team of bartenders, servers, and cigar specialists.
- Conduct regular team training on cigar knowledge, spirits, hospitality, and service excellence.
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of professionalism, luxury, and excellence.
5. Financial & Business Management
- Oversee club financials, including budgeting, P&L management, and cost control.
- Drive revenue through membership sales, product sales, and events.
- Optimize operations to maximize profitability while maintaining premium service quality.
- Report financial and operational insights to the ownership team.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in hospitality management, preferably in a luxury club, cigar lounge, or high-end bar.
- Leadership & Team Management – Ability to lead, inspire, and manage a team effectively.
- Customer Service Excellence – Strong commitment to guest satisfaction and VIP experiences.
- Sales & Business Acumen – Ability to drive revenue, manage budgets, and grow membership.
- Event Management Experience – Background in planning and executing high-end events is a plus.
- Bilingual Preferred (Spanish & English) – Due to the Puerto Rico location, bilingual skills are a strong asset.
- Be comfortable in a cigar smoking enviroment.
