Grofessors Innovations Private Limited is seeking a full-time, in-house Cinematographer & Video Editor to lead end-to-end video production for our podcast ecosystem. The role requires hands-on ownership of multi-camera podcast shoots, long-form episode edits, and high-impact short-form reel content optimised for digital platforms.

This is a production-critical role. We are not looking for a freelancer mindset. We need someone who understands content velocity, consistency, and quality at scale.

Key ResponsibilitiesCinematography & Production

  • Set up and operate single and multi-camera podcast shoots (studio and on-site as required).
  • Handle lighting, framing, audio coordination, and camera settings to ensure broadcast-quality output.
  • Maintain visual consistency aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Coordinate with hosts and production team to ensure smooth recording workflows.

Video Editing – Long-Form

  • Edit full-length podcast episodes with clean pacing, continuity, and professional polish.
  • Sync multi-camera footage and external audio sources.
  • Perform colour correction, basic colour grading, and audio clean-up.
  • Deliver final masters in platform-ready formats.

Video Editing – Short-Form & Reels

  • Create short-form clips (reels, shorts, highlights) optimised for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
  • Identify high-retention moments and convert them into engaging edits with captions, zooms, and visual emphasis.
  • Apply subtitles, motion elements, and on-screen text where required—without over-editing.

Asset & Workflow Management

  • Organise raw footage, project files, and exports with proper naming and backups.
  • Adhere to content timelines and publishing schedules.
  • Maintain equipment and report technical requirements proactively.

Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (mandatory).
  • Working knowledge of After Effects for basic motion graphics and text animations.
  • Solid understanding of cinematography fundamentals: composition, lighting, camera movement, and lenses.
  • Experience handling DSLR / mirrorless / cinema cameras and professional audio setups.
  • Ability to edit both long-form conversational content and short-form social media clips.

Professional Requirements

  • Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in video production and editing (podcasts or talk-format content preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Ability to work full-time from office and collaborate with an in-house content team.
  • Disciplined approach to deadlines and content delivery.

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

  • Experience working with podcasts, founders, educators, or business content.
  • Familiarity with social media performance metrics and content trends.
  • Basic sound design or audio post-production knowledge.

What This Role Is Not

  • Not a freelance or remote position.
  • Not limited to only editing or only shooting—you own the full pipeline.
  • Not suitable for beginners or hobbyists.

What We Offer

  • Full-time, stable role in a growing content-driven organisation.
  • Opportunity to work on high-visibility podcast and brand content.
  • Creative ownership and long-term growth within the media team.
  • Competitive compensation aligned with experience and output quality.
