Grofessors Innovations Private Limited is seeking a full-time, in-house Cinematographer & Video Editor to lead end-to-end video production for our podcast ecosystem. The role requires hands-on ownership of multi-camera podcast shoots, long-form episode edits, and high-impact short-form reel content optimised for digital platforms.
This is a production-critical role. We are not looking for a freelancer mindset. We need someone who understands content velocity, consistency, and quality at scale.
Key ResponsibilitiesCinematography & Production
- Set up and operate single and multi-camera podcast shoots (studio and on-site as required).
- Handle lighting, framing, audio coordination, and camera settings to ensure broadcast-quality output.
- Maintain visual consistency aligned with brand guidelines.
- Coordinate with hosts and production team to ensure smooth recording workflows.
Video Editing – Long-Form
- Edit full-length podcast episodes with clean pacing, continuity, and professional polish.
- Sync multi-camera footage and external audio sources.
- Perform colour correction, basic colour grading, and audio clean-up.
- Deliver final masters in platform-ready formats.
Video Editing – Short-Form & Reels
- Create short-form clips (reels, shorts, highlights) optimised for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
- Identify high-retention moments and convert them into engaging edits with captions, zooms, and visual emphasis.
- Apply subtitles, motion elements, and on-screen text where required—without over-editing.
Asset & Workflow Management
- Organise raw footage, project files, and exports with proper naming and backups.
- Adhere to content timelines and publishing schedules.
- Maintain equipment and report technical requirements proactively.
Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (mandatory).
- Working knowledge of After Effects for basic motion graphics and text animations.
- Solid understanding of cinematography fundamentals: composition, lighting, camera movement, and lenses.
- Experience handling DSLR / mirrorless / cinema cameras and professional audio setups.
- Ability to edit both long-form conversational content and short-form social media clips.
Professional Requirements
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in video production and editing (podcasts or talk-format content preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to work full-time from office and collaborate with an in-house content team.
- Disciplined approach to deadlines and content delivery.
Preferred (Not Mandatory)
- Experience working with podcasts, founders, educators, or business content.
- Familiarity with social media performance metrics and content trends.
- Basic sound design or audio post-production knowledge.
What This Role Is Not
- Not a freelance or remote position.
- Not limited to only editing or only shooting—you own the full pipeline.
- Not suitable for beginners or hobbyists.
