Expected Compensation: $85,000-$95,000/annual
The salary range listed in this posting provides the current estimate for this position.
The specific salary offered to a selected candidate will be commensurate with work experience, education, relevant qualifications and skill level.

Role Summary:
We are looking for a fun-loving, team-oriented, strategic-thinking, and entrepreneurial marketing professional to lead innovative marketing initiatives that drive business growth. The Marketing Manager is a senior, hands-on leader responsible for translating CityGate Hospitality’s marketing strategy into disciplined execution, measurable performance, and consistent brand delivery across all properties and outlets. This role balances execution, analytics, and people leadership, ensuring marketing initiatives are delivered on time, on brand, and tied to clear business outcomes.
This position is not a support role. It is a results-driven leadership role designed to scale execution, strengthen accountability, and elevate marketing performance across the organization.


Responsibilities:
Marketing Execution & Delivery
  • Own and execute integrated marketing plans, calendars, and campaign timelines across hotel, F&B, and events
  • Translate strategic priorities into clear work plans and deliverables for the marketing team
  • Ensure consistent brand voice and standards across all digital, print, on-site, and promotional materials
  • Lead cross-functional execution with Sales, Revenue, F&B, Rooms, and Operations
  • Oversee campaign launches, promotions, special events, and seasonal initiatives
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for marketing follow-through and delivery
Analytics, Performance & Insight
  • Own marketing KPIs, dashboards, and reporting cadence
  • Analyze campaign performance, channel effectiveness, and ROI
  • Leverage customer data, segmentation, and testing to improve targeting and conversion
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities; proactively recommend adjustments
  • Benchmark performance against competitors and industry standards
  • Present insights and recommendations to the Director of Sales & Marketing
Team Leadership & Development
  • Directly manage marketing team members (content, design, social)
  • Lead regular 1:1s, coaching conversations, and performance feedback
  • Set clear expectations, priorities, and success measures for the team
  • Support training, skill development, and role clarity
  • Foster accountability, collaboration, and execution discipline
Digital, Channel & Program Oversite:
  • Oversee website performance, content updates, and UX optimization
  • Manage paid social execution and reporting (strategy set by Director)
  • Ensure accuracy and optimization of OTA, Google, Yelp, TripAdvisor, and listings
  • Oversee loyalty program marketing, automation, and guest communications
  • Coordinate photography, content capture, and creative asset needs
Budget & Vendor Collaboration
  • Partner with Director of Sales & Marketing on budget planning and prioritization
  • Optimize campaign spend and track ROI
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations on vendor timelines, deliverables, and performance
  • Maintain fiscal discipline without slowing execution
Guest Experience & Loyalty:
  • Manage loyalty program marketing and automation (e.g., Wix).
  • Enhance in-house guest experiences.
  • Execute post-stay communications and retargeting strategies.
Administrative Support:
  • Manage marketing communications (e.g., Marketing@ emails).
  • Provide support to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for marketing and PR inquiries.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 3-5 years in marketing capacity

Experience
  • 2-5 years’ experience in marketing, advertising, branding, public relations, social media strategy and execution.

Skills
  • Proven experience in hospitality marketing.
  • Familiar with Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Wix, TravelClick Web, Givex, email and CRM platforms, booking engines, and more.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and tools.
  • Proficiency in SEO, CRM platforms, and loyalty database management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive insights.
  • Technical proficiency and familiarity with hotel reservation platforms.
  • Ability to conceptualize and communicate brand mission effectively.
  • Comfortable producing and editing marketing assets using Adobe InDesign, Canva, and/or similar design platforms

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill job duties.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
