Civil & Arch Draftsman

Draftsman – Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Draftsman in construction, MEP, or fit-out projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D), and other drafting software (e.g., Revit, SketchUp, or SolidWorks if applicable)
• Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
• Ability to create detailed technical drawings and shop drawings from concept designs
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and authority requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Good communication skills for cross-functional teamwork
• Familiarity with material specifications and construction techniques
• Ability to take site measurements and translate them into precise drawings
• Experience in handling As-Built drawings and document submissions
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to design changes quickly
• Familiarity with BIM workflows
