Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil CAD Draftsman to join our team in Dubai. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate civil and structural shop drawings, detailed construction drawings, and as-built drawings for residential, commercial, retail, villa, and high-rise building projects. The ideal applicant should possess strong AutoCAD skills, a sound understanding of civil construction practices, and experience working on UAE construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil and structural shop drawings based on IFC drawings, project specifications, and engineering requirements
• Draft and develop:
• General arrangement drawings
• Structural layout drawings
• Foundation and footing details
• Reinforcement detailing (rebar drawings)
• Concrete and masonry details
• Site development and grading drawings
• Roadwork and infrastructure drawings (where applicable)
• Sections, elevations, and construction details
• Review IFC drawings, consultant requirements, and project specifications
• Coordinate civil drawings with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to avoid design conflicts
• Prepare quantity-related drawings and detailed construction documentation
• Generate as-built drawings based on site conditions and engineer instructions
• Revise and update drawings according to consultant comments, site modifications, and project requirements
• Ensure compliance with project standards, Dubai Municipality regulations, and relevant authority requirements
• Maintain proper drawing records, revisions, transmittals, and documentation
• Support engineers and project teams with timely preparation and submission of drawings
• Assist in resolving drawing-related issues during construction and coordination meetings

Requirements

• Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of Civil CAD drafting experience (UAE experience preferred)
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
• Good understanding of civil and structural construction methods and standards
• Experience in residential, commercial, villa, retail, and high-rise building projects
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and BOQs
• Knowledge of reinforcement detailing and construction drawing preparation
• Basic understanding of authority submission requirements and construction regulations
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Candidate currently available inside the UAE
• Immediate joiners preferred
• Experience with consultant submission procedures
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality and other UAE authority standards
• Experience in preparing as-built and coordination drawings
