Civil Deputy County Attorney

Box Elder County has an opening for a full time Civil Attorney. The Civil Attorney works under the direction of the Box Elder County Chief Civil Deputy Attorney in performing assigned legal duties primarily related to inhouse counsel and governmental operations, but with the possibility of occasional responsibilities being assigned in prosecution of criminal matters. This position reports directly to the Chief Civil Deputy Attorney and operates under the direction and authority of the County Attorney.

Interested applicants should be a graduate of an accredited law school with a Juris Doctor degree in law and have experience practicing law (preferably civil or local government law).

The starting pay range for this position is $90,000-$110,000 depending on experience. Applicants will be screened as applications are submitted and interviews are anticipated to be held the first week of December 2025.
