Civil Designer

Civil 3D Designer – Gainesville, FL
Full-Time | Onsite

We are seeking a Civil 3D Designer to turn conceptual ideas into detailed, buildable plans for civil site development projects, including residential subdivisions, commercial sites, municipal infrastructure, and roadways. You will work closely with engineers to produce high-quality construction documents using Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare site plans, grading and drainage layouts, utility systems, and roadway corridors.
• Refine redline markups, assemble plan sets, model surfaces and pipe networks.
• Ensure technical accuracy of design deliverables.

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of experience in civil site design (grading, drainage, stormwater, roadways, utilities, subdivisions).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, including:
• Surface creation/editing, alignments, profiles, corridors
• Pipe networks (storm, sanitary, water)
• Grading tools, feature lines, cross sections, and quantity takeoffs
• Understanding of local/state design standards (FDOT, zoning, codes).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information:

• Candidates will be asked to visit the Gainesville office to complete a 30–60-minute computer assignment to demonstrate software proficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $63,286.72 - $76,216.27 per year
