Job Description – Civil Draftsman

Position Title: Civil Draftsman
Experience Required: 7–8 Years
Location: Qatar
Industry: Infrastructure, High-Rise Buildings, and Marine Projects

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, and shop drawings for infrastructure, high-rise buildings, and marine structures.
• Develop as-built drawings and ensure compliance with project specifications and Qatar construction standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure accuracy and timely submission of drawings.
• Review design inputs, perform modifications, and maintain drawing revisions/records.
• Support site teams by providing detailed sketches and technical guidance.
• Ensure adherence to municipal codes, project guidelines, and client requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or Drafting (or equivalent qualification).
• 7–8 years of proven experience in Qatar as a Civil Draftsman within infrastructure, high-rise, and marine projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and other drafting/design software.
• Knowledge of Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and local authority requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 6 months
