Civil Draftsman

We are looking for a skilled Interior Fit-Out / MEP Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in interior fit-out and joinery, capable of creating detailed technical drawings and layouts for commercial and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate 2D detailed design & shop drawings and models using AutoCAD
• Develop interior concepts, layouts, and plans for commercial and residential projects.
• Prepare detailed joinery and shop drawings for manufacturing.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility
• Conduct site visits and take measurements to ensure alignment with project requirements
• Select materials, finishes, and fixtures for high-quality, cohesive designs
• Provide creative and technical solutions that meet project specifications, deadlines, and budgets
• Collaborate with suppliers to source materials and ensure timely delivery

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field
• Minimum 1 year experience in interior fit-out and joinery drafting
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software
• Hand sketch drafting skill is an additional benefit
• Knowledge about preparation of design submission drawings as per local regulatory standard
• Coordinate with design and site teams to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of drawings.
• Prepare submission sets for Dubai Municipality, DCD, Trakhees, DDA or relevant authorities.
• Strong knowledge of joinery details, materials, and installation methods
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

• UAE/GCC experience is a plus in interior fit-out field
• Strong experience in authority drawing submissions and building management drawing submissions.
• Excellent knowledge in technical detailing for fit-out projects (Joinery, MEP coordination, ceiling plans, etc.).
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
