Civil Draftsman Structural, Architectural & MEP - Urgently Required

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Civil Draftsman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, plans, and layouts for civil engineering and construction projects. The role requires proficiency in drafting software, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, project managers, and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings, plans, layouts, and technical documentation.
• Develop and revise site plans, grading plans, road layouts, drainage systems, utility networks, and infrastructure drawings.
• Convert design concepts, sketches, and engineering calculations into accurate CAD drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, industry standards, and local regulations.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, surveyors, and project teams to resolve design and drafting issues.
• Review and update drawings based on design changes and project requirements.
• Maintain drawing records, revisions, and document control procedures.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and assist with project documentation when required.
• Support project teams during planning, tendering, and construction phases.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 06 years of experience as a Civil Draftsman in construction engineering projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience with other drafting software is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering drawings, standards, and construction methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, engineering calculations, and survey data.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of local construction codes and regulations is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in all development projects.
• Experience working in a fast-paced engineering or construction environment.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
