Civil Draughtsman

The Role

• Prepare detailed civil and structural drawings including foundations, columns, slabs, beams, and reinforcement details for tower projects. • Develop architectural layouts, sections, and elevations based on design concepts and engineer instructions. • Ensure all drawings are clear, accurate, and compliant with project and authority standards. • Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and MEP teams to ensure integrated and clash-free designs. • Revise drawings according to consultant/client comments and design updates. • Prepare and modify drawings for submission to Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, and other local authorities. • Ensure drawings comply with the latest UAE building codes and authority regulations. • Prepare as-built drawings reflecting site conditions and approved changes during construction. • Maintain drawing logs and version control for proper documentation. • Assist the site and engineering teams by providing technical drawings and clarifications as needed.

Requirements

• Diploma or ITI in Civil Drafting, Civil Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification. • Minimum 5–10 years of experience as a Civil Draughtsman, with at least 3 years in high-rise/tower projects in Dubai or the UAE. • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D); knowledge of Revit, Civil 3D, or BIM is an advantage. • Excellent understanding of construction detailing, structural drawings, and reinforcement layouts. • Familiarity with UAE authority standards (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, DM, DEWA, etc.). • Good communication skills and ability to work within multi-disciplinary project teams.
