Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Technical Review

• Study project drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Prepare method statements, work schedules, and shop drawings (if required).
• Assist in preparing cost estimates, BOQs, and material take-offs.

2. Site Supervision & Execution

• Supervise civil works such as concrete, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, excavation, formwork, and finishing works.
• Ensure all site activities follow approved drawings, standards, and safety rules.
• Monitor daily site progress and report to the Project Manager.
• Check levels, alignment, dimensions, and quality of completed works.

3. Technical Coordination

• Coordinate with structural, architectural, and MEP teams to resolve design or site issues.
• Follow up with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely completion of work.
• Collaborate with consultants and clients for inspections and technical approvals.

4. Materials & Procurement

• Identify material requirements and prepare material requisitions.
• Verify material quality and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Manage storage, usage, and wastage control at site.

5. Quality Assurance

• Implement QA/QC procedures and conduct inspections for each stage of work.
• Ensure proper documentation, including ITPs, MIRs, and WIRs.
• Prepare snag lists and ensure corrective measures are completed.

6. Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all works comply with HSE standards and risk assessments.
• Liaise with safety officers to maintain a safe working environment.
• Follow UAE building codes, Dubai Municipality regulations, and authority guidelines.

7. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily site reports, inspection records, and progress updates.
• Assist with preparation of monthly progress reports and project documentation.
• Support preparation of handover files and as-built drawings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
