Civil Engineer

Thompson Civil is seeking a full-time Engineer to work in our Civil Engineering Section. The preferred location for this position is within our St. Louis, MO office.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

Responsible for the development of engineering roadway/site plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E). Work as part of a team to complete general transportation engineering services for private, municipal, county and state agencies. Candidates will work with licensed engineers. Thompson Civil, a growing civil engineering roadway/site design & construction management firm, with offices in Illinois and Missouri, is currently seeking a full-time mid-level roadway design engineer. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

EIT/FE Certification (PE Licensure is preferred) with 3+ years transportation engineering experience. Familiarity with DOT/AASHTO standards. Provide good and effective written/verbal communication skills. Proficient in the use of Microstation Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word). Working knowledge of MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering

SALARY RANGE:

Salary Range $80,000 to $95,000
