Civil Engineer

Job Summary

The Site Engineer is responsible for managing day-to-day construction activities at the project site, ensuring work is executed as per approved drawings, quality standards, safety norms, and project timelines.

Key ResponsibilitiesSite Execution & Supervision

• Supervise on-site construction activities as per drawings and specifications
• Ensure work progress aligns with project schedule
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams
• Monitor material usage and control wastage

Quality Control

• Ensure construction quality as per approved standards and checklists
• Conduct regular site inspections and rectify deviations
• Maintain quality records and inspection reports

Planning & Coordination

• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, and vendors
• Assist in planning daily and weekly work schedules
• Prepare work progress reports and submit to management

Material & Inventory Management

• Raise material requisitions as per site requirements
• Verify material quantity and quality at site
• Maintain records of material consumption

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to safety rules and site safety protocols
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure use of PPE
• Maintain safety-related documentation

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain site registers, drawings, and measurement books
• Prepare daily progress reports (DPR)
• Assist in bill verification and measurement work

Required Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and BOQs
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD (basic), and site documentation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
