Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing a variety of civil engineering projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, safety standards, and client requirements. Duties

• Develop detailed civil engineering designs using software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation.
• Manage multiple projects from inception through to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.
• Prepare technical drawings, plans, and specifications for construction and system design projects.
• Conduct site inspections and oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective project delivery.
• Utilise project management skills to coordinate resources, schedules, and deliverables efficiently.
• Perform calculations and analyses using Mathcad or similar tools to support design accuracy.
• Review and approve contractor submissions and change orders during construction phases.
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with local regulations, standards, and environmental considerations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in civil engineering design and project management.
• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and other relevant tools.
• Strong knowledge of system design principles within the civil engineering domain.
• Familiarity with construction processes and site supervision practices.
• Excellent mathematical skills with experience using Mathcad or equivalent programmes.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Effective organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Relevant degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline recognised by professional bodies such as ICE or IStructE.
