Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets using project scheduling tools to ensure timely delivery of engineering projects.
- Prepare and review technical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and other CAD software to produce accurate design documents.
- Conduct construction management activities including site inspections, quality assurance, and adherence to safety protocols during construction phases.
- Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) such as ArcGIS and HEC (Hydrologic Engineering Center) tools for spatial analysis and hydrological modeling.
- Prepare construction estimates by analyzing project scope, material costs, labor requirements, and utilizing construction estimating software like Mathcad or System Design tools.
- Oversee land surveying activities to ensure precise measurements for infrastructure layouts and alignments.
- Collaborate on system design for water treatment, wastewater management, hydraulics, geotechnical engineering, and mechanical systems to optimize performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in construction management, project engineering, or civil design roles.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, ArcGIS, SWMM (Storm Water Management Model), and Hydraulics software such as HEC-RAS or Mathcad.
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and water/wastewater treatment processes.
- Experience with project scheduling tools like Primavera or MS Project is highly desirable.
- Excellent technical writing skills for preparing reports, specifications, and documentation.
