Civil Engineer

Qualified candidate must have a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent degree. EIT with the ability to obtain a PE license within 3-4 years is desirable. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, AutoCAD Civil 3D is needed - training will be provided for Gaston Engineering processes and templates. Experience and certification with concrete testing, soils testing, and compaction testing is desired. Position involves a combination of office and field work that includes: engineering design, on-site wastewater design, storm drainage design, water and sewer main layout, on-site inspection activities, materials testing (i.e. concrete, soils, compaction), report writing, interacting with Project Managers, Surveyors, and clients.
