Job Description:

QA/QC Civil Engineer (Solar PV Projects)

1. Oversee and manage all civil construction activities at project sites to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

2. Review, validate, and approve civil designs, shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals related to foundations, piling works, roads, drainage, and foundations.

3. Supervise, review and execute piling foundations designs, ground leveling, trenching, excavation, backfilling, compaction, and site grading works.

4. Conduct site assessments, soil condition reviews, and feasibility evaluations prior to construction activities.

5. Ensure strict adherence to project quality standards, HSE requirements, and statutory regulations.

6. Monitor Subcontractor performance and ensure works are executed as per approved construction methodologies.

7. Coordinate with EPC teams, consultants, subcontractors, authorities and internal stakeholders for smooth execution of civil works.

8. Track project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

9. Identify site issues, technical challenges, and risks; propose and implement corrective and preventive actions.

10. Ensure proper material planning, quantity verification, and BOQ compliance for civil works.

11. Attend technical meetings, inspections, and site coordination meetings with clients and consultants.

12. Verify completed works for measurement, certification, and billing purposes.

13. Support project handover activities, including as-built drawings, documentation, and snag clearance.

14. Must have hands-on experience in mega solar power plant PV projects, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant civil engineering experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: BD450.000 - BD500.000 per month
