Civil Engineer (Abu Dhabi DMT Registered)

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Valid Abu Dhabi DMT (Department of Municipalities and Transport) Registration is mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in villa and/or building construction projects.
• Proven experience in site supervision, project execution, and construction management.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, building regulations, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Ability to manage site activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
• Experience in coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.
• Ability to prepare technical reports, monitor project progress, and ensure timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day site operations to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure project activities are completed as per schedule.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical and construction-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and method statements prior to execution.
• Prepare and maintain progress reports, inspection records, and project documentation.
• Support authority inspections and approval processes as required.
• Ensure projects are delivered within approved timelines and quality requirements.

Preferred Profile

• Experience in residential villa and building construction projects within the UAE.
• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi Municipality/DMT regulations, procedures, and approval requirements.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills.
