Pay: ₹40,000.00-₹50,000.00 per month

Structural Engineer – Job DescriptionOverview

The Structural Engineer is responsible for designing, analyzing, and reviewing structural systems to ensure safety, stability, and compliance with applicable codes and standards. This role involves close collaboration with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for buildings and other structures (steel, concrete, timber, masonry, etc.)
• Prepare structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
• Ensure designs comply with local building codes, standards, and regulations
• Review architectural and engineering plans for structural integrity and constructability
• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, MEP engineers, and contractors
• Perform site visits and inspections during construction to verify compliance with design intent
• Address construction issues, field changes, and technical inquiries (RFIs)
• Use structural analysis and design software to model and optimize structures
• Participate in project planning, scheduling, and cost considerations
• Support permitting and approval processes as required

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Solid understanding of structural engineering principles and materials
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD, RAM, SAFE, etc.)
• Knowledge of applicable building codes and standards (e.g., ACI, AISC, ASCE, Eurocodes, or local equivalents)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) / Chartered Engineer (CEng) license or ability to obtain licensure
• Experience working on commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with BIM tools (e.g., Revit, Tekla)

Work Environment

• Combination of office-based design work and on-site inspections
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary project teams
• May require occasional travel to project sites
