Civil Engineer /Arabic /Male

Key Duties and Responsibilities:o Oversee the implementation process on site of new construction projects and liaise with stakeholders.o Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies on site.o Monitor progress and compile reports on project status.o Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, regulations and health and safety guidelines.o Prepare scope and BOQ for the civils works of new construction projects.o Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to gather proposals. Review the proposals, negotiate prices, and recommend and coordinate with the Executive management for approval.o Manage the communication with the contractor, discuss contract terms and follow up on payment in coordination with Finance.o Ensure all work areas meet quality, safety, and compliance standards.o Deliver technical files and other technical documentation (Method of statements, reports, forms, etc.) as required.o Conduct site visits to inspect work, check materials and ensure the hired contractor is following the specs and meeting the deadlines.o Review on regular basis the timings, budget, labour, risks, material, and project plans to ensure work stays on track.o Ensure projects run smoothly and completed within budget and on time.o Meet regularly and consult with the Design, Maintenance and IT departments on the progress updates and reports on issues periodically.o Conduct regular meetings with the consultant and contractor.o Coordinate with the MEP contractor and ensure the proper implementation of all site works related to HVAC.o Compile job specs and supervise tendering procedures.o Follow the contracts and the implementation plan and mitigate the impact of any issues to the Management.o Ensure that the BOQ of material is matching the Tender documents and meet the specification.o Ensure the delivery of high-quality work as per the requirement.o Hand over after completion of project to the Maintenance Manager.o Handle and manage the maintenance plan for the assigned premises (Palace and farms). o Notify and coordinate with the Maintenance Manager on regular basis.o Conduct regular inspections and monitor the maintenance plan for the assigned premises (Palace and farms). Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:o Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.o 10 years’ experience in construction field.o Knowledge of the UAE regulations.o Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar.o Proficiency in site layout, utility design, regulatory approvals etc.o Project management and supervision skills. o Proficient MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
