Job Title: Civil Engineer – Building Construction

Location: United Arab Emirates Experience Required: 10+ Years (UAE-based)

Job Description:

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with a strong background in building construction to join our contracting company in the UAE. The ideal candidate must have at least 10 years of proven experience managing mid to large-scale building projects, including 7 years in the UAE, from initial planning to final handover.

Key Responsibilities:

Ø Lead and manage the execution of construction projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract specifications.

Ø Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and authorities to ensure smooth communication and project alignment.

Ø Take charge of site operations, monitor work progress, and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Ø Review project drawings, specifications, and schedules; identify and resolve discrepancies or technical issues.

Ø Prepare and manage project timelines, budgets, progress reports, and procurement plans.

Ø Oversee and guide the site team, ensuring high standards of workmanship and effective resource utilization.

Requirements:

Ø Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree is an advantage)

Ø Minimum of 7 years of experience in the UAE, specifically in building construction (residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects)

Ø Strong knowledge of Dubai building codes, regulations, and authority approval processes

Ø Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ø Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project

Ø With DCD Registered Engineer, Trakhees Accredited Safety Engineer, Trakhees Accredited Project Manager, DM Registered Engineer, Registered Society of Engineers, Registered Engineer in DDA, Registered Engineer in DMCC, Scaffolding Erection, Dismantling & Testing Certificate, Fire Safety Certificate and Certified G+12 or G + Unlimited
