Civil Engineer / Civil Project Engineer

Your Tasks

• Review of contractors’ design and construction documents
• Supporting Engineering for Design Works
• Preparation of due diligence and feasibility reports as well as technical reports
• Evaluation of Contractors’ Bids
• Preparation of Technical Specifications
• Supporting Proposal Preparations
• Technical official works
• Joining technical meetings and contract negotiations with clients and contractors
• Performing site visits to observe project progress or to evaluate the condition of ongoing and/or completed construction works
• Liaise and close collaboration with other national and international technical specialists within the engineer pool of the company
  
  

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and Master Degree in Structural Engineering
• 6 to 10 years of professional experience in the design of industrial type projects preferably in either of power plants, desalination plants, factories
• Fundamental understanding and knowledge of civil engineering design and construction philosophy
• Good knowledge of Eurocode- and ASCE-Norms and their application in international construction projects, knowing additionally national codes of MENA countries would be an asset
• Advanced knowledge in earthquake measuring, analysis and design would be an asset
• Fundamental ability to perform Civil Engineering as part of a team for design review, technical due diligence studies, feasibility studies, bid evaluation studies, specification preparations, site supervisions and technical office works
• Expert knowledge of Civil Engineering Software Revit and Navisworks and Tools used for Structural Design SOFiSTiK and Dlubal (to be able to use such software is a plus), ability to use Auto Cad (Basic Level)
• Collaborate with a team of national and international engineers and project managers
• Fluent in Turkish and English ( both written and oral) ; German knowledge would be an asset
• Willingness to travel (within Turkey and abroad)
• Valid driving license: B (for Turkey) is a must
• Military Service must be completed
