Civil Engineer - Civil Site Design

DCE is looking for a motivated and driven civil design engineer in Alpharetta, GA.

The candidate will perform diverse civil engineering work with a team of Professional Engineers and designers. Work will include all aspects of site design including site layout, grading, earthwork computations, storm and sanitary sewer design, water system designs, and hydrology. Responsibilities will include working with a team to prepare construction plans, communicating with clients and local government officials, obtaining permits and performing engineering calculations.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with an EIT/FE Certification or the ability to receive EIT certification in the near future.
• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture.

Experience:

• 5 to 15 years

Skills:

• Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to solve problems.
• Design experience in preparation of layouts, site grading, erosion control, storm, sanitary and water system design.
