CIVIL ENGINEER CUM ESTIMATOR

We are looking for MALE Civil Engineer with expertise in estimation and costing are essential for determining project feasibility, preparing bills of quantities (BOQ), and managing budgets, ensuring profitability in construction. They analyze plans to calculate material, labor, and equipment costs. Key skills include proficiency in software like Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and Excel, alongside knowledge of rate analysis and tender preparation.

Key Aspects of Civil Estimation & Costing

• Types of Estimates: Preliminary (rough cost), Detailed, Revised, and Supplementary.
• Core Components: Analysis of rates, valuation of properties, and material requirement calculation (including reinforcement/bar bending schedules).
• Required Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and specialized software like Primavera P6.
• Industry Focus: Quantity surveying, tender documentation, and cost control.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Estimation Engineer: Prepares detailed cost breakdowns and identifies potential risks.
• Quantity Surveyor: Focuses on BOQ preparation, contract administration, and cost-effective management.
• Site Engineer/Manager: Utilizes estimates for budget control and resource planning.
