Civil Engineer (DM Registered)

DCBC is looking for a smart, dynamic and result driven individual.

• Minimum 3 years UAE experience in a Fit Out & strong experience in structural steel and civil works, with proven expertise in site works.
• Receiving pre contract documents from client or consultant and understanding the nature of work.
• Taking quantities from received drawings and preparing BOQ or if BOQ provided confirming the BOQ quantities with drawings and identifying the extra works if any.
• Should be hands on with AutoCAD.
• Quotations based rate analyzing with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Evaluating & certifying subcontractor payments.
• Taking off individual measurements of works
• Verifying invoices and forwarding for the payment
• Maintain day works records and material on site report.
• Draft letter for variation and contractual correspondences to Clients.
• Cost saving from Value Engineering exercise with the team.
• Meeting Project deadline.
• Attend commercial & contractual meeting with client representatives/consultant financial administration.
• Should be regularly updated with latest materials and Pricing in the market.
• Preparing monthly reports.
• UAE driving license a must (company car provided)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Dubai Municipality (DM) Approved – G+1 Steel Constructions Contracting / Building Contracting (mandatory).
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in the UAE construction industry (preferably in structural steel and civil works).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
