Civil Engineer, EIT - Land Development

Civil Engineering EIT – Land Development. Join the Wuest Group!

Wuest Group is growing, and we’re looking for a Civil Engineering EIT to join our Austin-based land development team. If you want hands-on project experience, direct mentorship from experienced engineers, and a clear path to grow your career, this is a strong opportunity.

What You’ll Do

You’ll work across a variety of civil land development projects, including:

• Site plans, subdivision layouts, and platting
• Roadway design and traffic control plans
• Water distribution, water quality, and drainage design
• Floodplain analysis and drainage studies

You’ll be involved in projects from early concept through construction documents, working closely with experienced engineers who will support your development and technical growth.

What We’re Looking For

• Approximately 2 years of civil land development experience
• Strong preference for experience within the Texas market, ideally Austin
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Candidates with primary experience in structural, geotechnical, or environmental engineering are not the right fit for this role

Compensation & Benefits

$74,000 – $102,000 depending on experience

Location

This is a full-time, onsite role based in our Austin office (North Loop / Mueller area). Candidates must be based in the Austin area and have reliable transportation.
