Civil Engineer (Estimation and Costing)

Experience Required: 2-5 Years

Job Description:

· Study and analyze architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and BOQ for estimation purposes.

· Experience of Study and preparation of BOQ.

· Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).

· Prepare project cost estimates, rate analysis, and cost comparisons.

· Collect quotations from vendors/subcontractors and evaluate them for cost efficiency.

· Assist in tendering process including preparation of technical and commercial bids.

· Conduct site visits when required to verify quantities and assess actual site conditions.

· Monitor material consumption and compare with estimated quantities.

· Prepare cost variance reports and support project cost control activities.

· Coordinate with planning, procurement, and execution teams for accurate cost tracking.

· Maintain updated database of material rates, labor costs, and market trends.

Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in estimation, costing, or quantity surveying.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software (e.g., Candy, CostX, or similar).
• Good analytical, mathematical, and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail with ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
