Civil Engineer (Estimation & DDA Approvals) – G+1 DM Licensed

Aquamate Contracting LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Civil Engineer with a valid Dubai Municipality (DM) G+1 License. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between office-based estimation and field-based authority approvals. You must be capable of independently managing the full lifecycle of a quotation—from quantity takeoff to DDA approval and site coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Estimation & Tendering: Prepare comprehensive quotations, detailed BOQs, and precise cost estimates involving materials, labor, and subcontractor soulutions.
• Authority Approvals: Independently manage the Dubai Development Authority (DDA) submission portal, including drawings review and follow-ups to ensure timely permits.
• Technical Analysis: Review structural and architectural drawings to calculate accurate material quantities and identify potential cost-saving measures.
• Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact between clients, consultants, and suppliers to ensure project specifications are met.
• Site Supervision: Conduct periodic site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with approved drawings, and maintain project documentation.

Requirements:

• Licensing: Valid Dubai Municipality (DM) G+1 Engineer License is mandatory.
• Experience: 2–4 years of proven UAE experience in civil engineering, specifically in estimation and authority approvals.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of DDA regulations, DM building codes, and UAE construction market rates.
• Communication: Strong command of English (verbal and written); ability to negotiate with subcontractors and present to clients.
