The Civil Engineer (Facility management) is responsible for overseeing and executing all civil works, fit out works related to maintenance, repairs, and minor modifications of facilities and buildings including new construction. This role ensures that structures remain safe, functional, and compliant with company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings, structures, and facilities to identify maintenance requirements.
  • Plan, schedule, and supervise civil maintenance works such as concrete repairs, masonry, plastering, tiling, painting, waterproofing, flooring, and carpentry.
  • Preparing Estimations and Quotation in professional way.
  • Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are carried out on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, MEP) for integrated facility maintenance.
  • Review and approve maintenance plans, work orders, and job safety analysis (JSA).
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to company standards and safety regulations.
  • Prepare scope of work, cost estimates, BOQs, and technical reports for civil maintenance projects.
  • Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, drawings, and site reports.
  • Support in the design and execution of small-scale renovations, modifications, and improvement works.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, health & safety standards, and company policies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in civil maintenance, facilities management, or construction (preferably in residential, commercial, or community projects).
  • Strong knowledge of building materials, repair methods, and construction standards.
  • Experience in managing subcontractors and maintenance teams.
  • Familiarity with preventive and corrective maintenance systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and maintenance management software.
