CIVIL ENGINEER (G+4 Projects)

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil / Structural Engineer with a valid UAE Engineering License to join our contracting team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both site execution and structural drafting/design coordination for residential and commercial projects up to G+4 and above.

The role involves managing site activities, conducting inspections, preparing and reviewing structural drawings, coordinating with consultants and authorities, and ensuring projects are delivered in compliance with UAE regulations, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise end-to-end execution of G+1 to G+4 construction projects

Prepare, review, and coordinate structural drawings, shop drawings, and construction details for authority approvals and site execution

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards

Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, subcontractors, and suppliers

Ensure compliance with UAE municipality regulations and authority requirements (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, etc.)

Review BOQs, technical drawings, specifications, and structural details

Resolve site-related technical and structural issues efficiently

Monitor project progress, quality, timelines, and manpower productivity

Ensure implementation of QA/QC procedures and HSE standards on site

Prepare inspection requests, progress reports, and technical documentation

Attend authority inspections and coordinate approvals/clearances

Support value engineering and construction optimization initiatives

Assist in material coordination and construction planning

Mandatory Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in construction and structural coordination (preferably G+4 projects)

Valid UAE Engineering License (mandatory for company classification compliance)

Strong experience in site supervision and structural drafting/detailing

Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural drafting software.

Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, construction standards, and authority procedures

Experience in handling authority submissions, inspections, and approvals

Ability to read, interpret, and coordinate structural and architectural drawings

Strong technical problem-solving and site coordination skills

Good communication and reporting abilities

Preferred Skills

Experience working with contracting companies handling turnkey projects

Knowledge of structural coordination for RCC and steel structures

Familiarity with project management and planning tools

Ability to manage multiple projects and fast-track schedules

Understanding of value engineering and cost control practices

Experience coordinating directly with consultants and authorities

Role Importance (License Compliance)

This position is critical for maintaining and upgrading the company’s G+4 contracting classification and engineering compliance requirements. The selected candidate will act as a key technical resource responsible for both structural coordination and on-site project execution.
