The Civil Engineer (Marine) will be responsible for overseeing and executing all civil and structural works related to marine infrastructure projects, including foundations, trenching, cable route construction, and shore-end works. The role ensures that construction activities align with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, supervise, and monitor civil and marine construction works related to transmission and cable projects.
  • Manage shore-end trenching, duct installation, and foundation construction for marine cable systems.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Coordinate with electrical and protection teams for interface works and project synchronization.
  • Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with OETC and international standards.
  • Ensure site safety, environmental compliance, and adherence to project schedules.
  • Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and communicate updates to project management.
  • Liaise with contractors, consultants, and site teams to resolve technical or operational issues.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in marine or transmission-related civil engineering projects.
  • Experience in shore-end and marine construction activities preferred.
  • Strong understanding of structural design, site execution, and quality control procedures.
  • Proficient in project documentation and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Pay: RO1,200.000 per month
