Job Title: Civil Engineer – Oil & Gas

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in Oil & Gas projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, supervision, and preparation of detailed method statements in compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and implement method statements, risk assessments, and work procedures for civil activities.
• Plan and supervise construction activities such as:
• Foundations (equipment, pipe racks, structures)
• Concrete works (pouring, curing, finishing)
• Excavation, backfilling, and grading
• Structural works and underground services
• Ensure all work complies with project specifications, drawings, and international standards.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, and other departments to ensure safe and quality execution.
• Participate in technical meetings with clients (e.g., QatarEnergy / LNG projects).
• Review IFC drawings and identify discrepancies.
• Monitor site progress and prepare daily/weekly reports.
• Ensure proper documentation and approvals before starting work activities.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with approved method statements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Oil & Gas / LNG projects.
• Proven experience in method statement preparation and technical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Concrete and structural works
• Excavation and earthworks
• Industry standards and codes
• Experience with major clients such as QatarEnergy / QE LNG is preferred.
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and HSE regulations.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in EPC projects.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD / Primavera / MS Project.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR8,000.00 - QAR10,000.00 per month
