Civil Engineer (Project Engineer)

Responsibilities

• Project supervision: Oversee all on-site construction activities, including setting out sites, supervising contracted staff, and managing work progress.
• Technical oversight: Interpret and verify technical drawings and designs, ensuring that construction is executed accurately and meets engineering standards.
• Quality control: Conduct regular site inspections and tests on materials and workmanship to maintain quality standards throughout the construction process.
• Resource management: Plan and manage the efficient allocation of labor, materials, and equipment to keep the project on track and on budget.
• Safety and compliance: Enforce and monitor health and safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment that complies with all building codes and regulations.
• Documentation and reporting: Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, project progress, and material usage. Prepare and submit regular reports to project managers and stakeholders.

Skills and qualifications

• Educational background: A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field is typically required.
• Technical knowledge: A strong understanding of core civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials is essential.
• Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed to interact with various stakeholders and prepare clear reports.
• Physical fitness and adaptability: The job is hands-on and often requires working outdoors in various conditions, sometimes on multiple sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
