About the Role

Solid Rock Recruiting is partnering with a leading civil/site firm to hire an experienced Civil Engineer (PE) to step in as a Project Manager . You’ll own projects from concept to closeout, build trusted client relationships, and lead a high-performing technical team delivering site development and infrastructure work across the Indianapolis market.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and deliver civil/site projects: site layout, grading, utilities, drainage, roadway improvements.

  • Drive schedules, budgets, quality standards, and client satisfaction.

  • Mentor and develop junior engineers, designers, and technicians.

  • Prepare, review, and stamp plans, specs, and technical reports.

  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, consultants, and permitting agencies.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and internal QA/QC.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).

  • Active Indiana PE license.

  • 6+ years of civil engineering experience with proven project management.

  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design tools.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and lead teams.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
