Civil Engineer / Site Supervisor – Fit-Out Projects (Dubai Driving License Required)

Job Overview

We are looking for a Civil Engineer cum Site Supervisor with strong UAE experience in fit-out and construction site management. The candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, preparing estimates and BOQs, coordinating approvals, and ensuring smooth execution of projects from planning to completion.

The role requires someone who can manage day-to-day site operations, communicate with clients and staff, and independently organize the required workforce for each project.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Site Management

• Supervise day-to-day site operations and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings.
• Conduct site surveys and assess project requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, technicians, and suppliers for smooth execution of work.
• Ensure timelines, quality standards, and safety procedures are followed on site.

Estimation & Planning

• Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) based on project drawings.
• Estimate material requirements, manpower, and project lead time.
• Plan workforce allocation and organize site teams accordingly.

Approvals & Documentation

• Manage government approvals and documentation processes related to projects.
• Ensure complete compliance with local authority requirements and procedures.
• Maintain proper documentation and project reports.

Client & Team Communication

• Communicate with clients regarding project updates and requirements.
• Coordinate between site staff and management to ensure smooth operations.
• Address on-site issues and provide practical solutions.

Requirements

• Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory)
• Proven experience in UAE construction / fit-out projects
• Strong knowledge of drawings, BOQ preparation, and project estimation
• Experience managing site teams and daily operations
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple site activities and deadlines

Preferred Experience

• Experience in interior fit-out or renovation projects
• Knowledge of local authority approvals in Dubai
• Ability to independently manage project execution
