Civil Engineer (Sohar Port & Freezone)

Sohar Port is a major industrial and logistics hub connecting Oman to global trade routes.

A Civil Engineer in Sohar Port works on large-scale industrial and port infrastructure projects, such as terminals, warehouses, roads, and industrial zones.

Core Responsibilities:

Construction & Site Supervision

Supervise construction of:

Port terminals

Roads and access infrastructure

Warehouses and industrial buildings

Monitor contractor work and ensure compliance with design standards

Project Planning & Execution

Assist in project scheduling and planning

Review civil engineering drawings and designs

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and port authorities

Quality Control & Safety

Conduct site inspections

Ensure materials and workmanship meet standards

Enforce HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) rules

Documentation & Reporting

Prepare daily/weekly progress reports

Track project timelines and costs

Maintain technical documentation and records

Port & Industrial Focus

Heavy-duty industrial foundations

Port expansion works

Logistics and free zone infrastructure

Pay: From RO1,300.000 per month
