Civil Engineer (Substation)

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with UAE Equivalency
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in civil engineering works, with at least 3 years on substation projects.
• Proven experience in civil works related to GIS buildings, transformer foundations, cable trenches, and other substation components.
• Strong knowledge of local authority standards and approvals (e.g., ADDC, TRANSCO, AADC).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project tracking tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE driving license preferred.
• TRANSCO Competency and Abu Dhabi Municipality Engineer License (mandatory).

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret IFC drawings, technical specifications, and project documents related to civil works.
• Plan and oversee civil construction activities such as excavation, formwork, concreting, reinforcement, masonry, and finishing works.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Ensure civil works are executed as per project schedule, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Supervise site teams, including foremen and laborers, ensuring efficient resource deployment and performance.
• Conduct inspections and raise RFI/IRs for completed civil works as per inspection plans.
• Monitor material usage, construction progress, and subcontractor performance.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, material requests, and site documentation.
• Participate in technical meetings and resolve site-related issues promptly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED17,000.00 per month
