Civil Estimator

Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Estimator with a strong background in building construction projects. The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years of UAE experience in estimation and tendering, with proven expertise in using Candy software. This role requires a professional who can provide accurate cost estimates, analyze tender documents, and support the commercial and project management teams in achieving competitive bids and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for building projects.
• Prepare bills of quantities (BOQ), rate analyses, and cost breakdowns using Candy software.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to obtain accurate pricing for materials, equipment, and subcontractor works.
• Conduct site visits when required to gather information for estimation.
• Develop and maintain a database of rates, suppliers, and subcontractors for reference in future tenders.
• Ensure all estimates comply with company standards, client requirements, and industry best practices.
• Identify potential risks and value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs.
• Support tender submissions, clarify post-tender queries, and assist in negotiations when required.
• Provide accurate handover documentation to project teams after award.
