Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Civil Foreman to supervise and manage daily site activities for civil works, ensuring quality, safety, and timely execution. The ideal candidate will coordinate manpower, materials, subcontractors, and assist engineers in the successful delivery of building and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities1. Site Supervision & Execution

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day site activities such as concreting, formwork, rebar, masonry, plastering, excavation, and structural works.
• Ensure that work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Allocate tasks to labor teams and subcontractors and ensure maximum productivity.

2. Manpower & Resource Management

• Plan and manage manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for daily operations.
• Coordinate material requests and ensure timely delivery to avoid delays.
• Check workmanship and ensure proper use of resources.

3. Quality Control

• Perform inspections of completed work and verify compliance with project quality standards.
• Report quality issues, defects, or deviations to site engineers for corrective action.
• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure work areas are organized.

4. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to site safety policies, PPE usage, and safe work practices.
• Conduct toolbox talks, report unsafe activities, and help enforce site safety regulations.
• Assist in preparing risk assessments and ensure implementation of safety measures.

5. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with civil engineers, surveyors, MEP teams, and subcontractors.
• Attend daily/weekly coordination meetings and communicate site progress.
• Report site issues, progress, and delays to the site engineer or construction manager.

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily site records including manpower logs, material usage, and work progress.
• Prepare daily reports and update supervisors on project status.
• Assist in preparing as-built documentation and inspection requests.

Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or Certification in Civil Engineering or relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of solid experience in civil construction (buildings, infrastructure, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and field execution.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, site layouts, and construction details.
• Good leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Hands-on experience supervising labor teams and subcontractors.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with residential/commercial building projects.
• Knowledge of concrete works, finishing works, and structural activities.
• Familiarity with safety standards and QA/QC procedures.

Work Environment

• Fully site-based role.
• Requires physical activity and direct supervision of field work.
• Coordination with engineers, contractors, and site management.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
