Position Overview:
We are searching for an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join our firm. The successful candidate will handle a caseload, representing clients in landlord/tenant, habitability and tenants rights matters.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, depositions and mediations.
• Engage in effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients when appropriate.
• Provide comprehensive legal counsel and guidance to clients throughout the legal process.
• Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar membership in CA.
• 1+ years of experience practicing in one of the following areas: personal injury, habitability, property damage, lemon law, or employment law.
• Exceptional litigation and negotiation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
