California Civil Litigation Attorney
Location: Sacramento, CA | Full-Time | Hybrid/On-site (as applicable)

Position Overview
We are seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join our accomplished civil litigation team in Sacramento. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation skills, excellent writing and analytical abilities, and the capacity to manage a diverse caseload independently. Key Responsibilities
• Handle all phases of civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Represent clients in California state and federal courts, as well as in administrative and pre-litigation settings.
• Conduct factual investigations, legal research, and case analysis.
• Draft complaints, motions, briefs, discovery, and settlement agreements.
• Engage in negotiations and other dispute-resolution efforts.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel.
• Provide professional, discreet, and well-prepared representation consistent with GRT’s high standards.
• Assist in strategy development, supervise junior attorneys, and handle complex or high-stakes cases.
Qualifications
• Active member of the California State Bar (required).
• 5+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing abilities.
• Prior experience drafting motions, conducting discovery, and handling court appearances.
• Ability to prepare thoroughly, work efficiently, and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Experience with administrative agencies, pre-litigation matters, or government-related issues is a plus.
• Commitment to providing responsive, client-focused representation.
